Supported and/or safe accommodation to women, with or without accompanying children, who as a result of family and domestic violence or other crisis. Breaking the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness, and assisting clients to maintain existing safe accommodation where appropriate or move to stable safe long term accommodation is a key role of Family and Domestic Violence Accommodation and Support.

The Centre services a 50km radius from the city, covering the Mt Barker and Denmark.

The Safe House provides crisis accommodation to women, with or without children (boys up to 10), impacted by family and domestic violence or other forms of crisis.
The Ngnowar Aerwah Aboriginal Corporation also offers various other services including community centre programs, advocacy, drug and alcohol counselling and rehabilitation, and family support.

Nardine Wimmin’s Refuge

Provides short term crisis and refuge accommodation for women, with or without children (boys under 18 years) experiencing or at risk of homelessness due to family or domestic violence or other forms of crisis.
The refuge also provides advocacy, referrals, and assistance in obtaining long term housing, information, and emotional and practical support.

Rae Lenny Shalom House – JewishCare WA

Provides short term accommodation for people of the Jewish faith, migrants that have recently arrived in Perth and families who are at risk of homelessness. The residence is also capable for accommodating families in short to medium term accommodation.
The Rae Lenny Shalom House also offers various services including social and language support, counselling, referrals, and assistance in locating long term accommodation and schools.
A confidential service (Social Worker) operates from Monday – Wednesday 9am – 3.30pm

Provides crisis and support accommodation for women aged 18 years or older, without children, who have been impacted by family or domestic violence or other forms of crisis.
Assistance is also provided in resourcing transitional accommodation if needed.
Does not provide accommodation for pets, but does assist in finding foster owners for pets in crisis situations.
