Provides crisis and refuge accommodation for women, with (boys up to the age of 12) or without children, experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
The Resource Centre also features a Family Violence Prevention Unit, a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Unit, Family Centre, Indigenous Parent Support services, and social enterprise and micro-business activities.

Garl Garl Walbu Aboriginal Corporation

The Garl Garl Walbu Alcohol Association Aboriginal Corporation runs a sobering-up centre based in Derby, Western Australia – the Derby sobering-up centre, which provides overnight accommodation for people intoxicated in public.
The aim of this service is to reduce police incarceration and harm to self and others. The organisation is a member of the Western Australian Network of Alcohol and other Drugs Agencies.

Derby Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation

The Derby Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation service is a purpose-built facility enabling Aboriginal people from remote communities to access short-stay accommodation for up to four weeks at a time.
The 54-bed facility operated by MercyCare in collaboration with Centacare Kimberley provides support to individuals and families who need short term accommodation in Derby.
Priority access will be given to Aboriginal people visiting from surrounding communities who need access to services such as:
– Health
– Employment
– Funeral attendances
– Reconnection with family and land

Family Service – Indigo Junction

We assist young families with parents under 25 who require housing. Indigo Junction provides on site supported housing for young parents under 25 and staffed by family support workers from 8:00am – 12:00pm.
Located in Midland, our service provides a safe and secure environment and is comprised of independent units with 2-3 bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and living space and include a private outdoor courtyard.
Families receive support to follow a personalised housing pathway plan, and the length of stay is generally 12 months.

Geraldton Family Crisis Centre – Salvation Army

The Centre provides various forms of accommodation and support to women and their families (children up to 15) either experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The Salvation Army provides several other services which include but are not limited to:
– Assistance with utility bill payments
– Food parcels
– Clothing vouchers
– Prescription assistance
– Transport assistance
– Information, support advocacy and referrals
– Positive Lifestyle Programme
– Financial counselling WA NILS loans.
Office hours 9.00am – 3.00pm. Donated food available for free Monday – Friday 9:00am – 1:00pm.

Ebenezer Home – Supported Accommodation

Ebenezer Home have a male facility and a female facility that provides transitional accommodation for up to 2 years. Female only accommodation is also available for 12-week periods.
Ebenezer also have Crisis Care vacancies, information regarding vacancies are available on bed count for up to date information. Self referral is acceptable by both Crisis and Transitional homes.
Admission only between 9am-5pm.

This Caravan Park is located 17 km outside of Mandurah area, and provides a range of accommodation including cabins, caravans, powered van sites and powered tent sites.
Prices ranging from $65 per night. Driver license and/or passport as well as credit card is required as form of identification at check in. Under 18s need a legal guardian.

Prices ranging from $30 per night for dormitory style rooms, up to $90 per night for standard double rooms. $110 rooms that fit three people are also available.
Photo ID is required as form of identification at check in, but name ID is also acceptable if you will allow a photo to be taken of you.
